Current Issue
The third issue of Scalpellum: Journal of Surgery & Clinical Research presents a diverse collection of case reports and evidence-based review articles addressing complex clinical challenges in surgery and related disciplines. This issue features rare and diagnostically challenging cases, including traumatic brain injury with occipital condyle fracture, gastric perforation in a low-resource setting, congenital talipes equinovarus management in primary health care, and a radiologic–pathologic discrepancy in low-grade meningioma. It also includes a systematic review and diagnostic meta-analysis evaluating potential biomarkers for delayed cerebral ischemia following subarachnoid hemorrhage. Together, these contributions reflect the journal’s commitment to advancing practical, evidence-based surgical knowledge through clinically relevant cases and rigorous scientific review.
